The structure and mandate of the Society are defined by the By-laws under which it is incorporated, any special purposes legislation governing its mandate, the letters patent, and the governance policies and procedures enacted under the authority of the By-laws.

 Role

Recognized  Canadian multidisciplinary authority for fertility. It will provide leadership
in fertility in the provision of practice guidelines, standards and certification for
non-medical professionals and public education.
